art network
is independent art group founded in Belgrade in 2005 by Zorica Jovanovic, Davor
Dzalto and Dragan Ignjatov.
Network is researching in the field of different art media, working on real
time actions in public spaces, active webworking and building relations between
virtual and real space, communication, archiving of video and web documentation
as well as publishing.
The aim of network is supporting of communication, group work and developing
of new open forms within alternative praxis providing space for personal dialog
and research. Network is also working on new relations and implementation of
various functions based on daily life using paradox and manipulation as well.
Flexibleart started with research two years ago and till now developed four
projects as bases for further activities (2004.“Transformation04-occupation
of space”, Zrenajnin; “Concept of body – Losing of body –
Virtual body”, Belgrade; 2005. “Creative place”, Belgrade;
“Transformation05 - contact”, Zrenjanin).
Almost all projects were realized in public space of towns focused on research
of communication: artwork and urban space, author and public, communication
between authors. Through organizing we research event it self, open form that
can correspond with creative potential of artists.
